Thank you so much for the thought, OM, but I'm going to decline because I never ever ever polish anything, and if it needs polishing, then it'll just sit on my mantleshelf looking tarnished and sad, until I put it away in the cupboard with everything else that needs polishing, and that's no life for an award now, is it? I just can't bear the feeling of metal polish on my hands - it's one of my Room 101 things. Can't bear it. Not even virtual metal polish.
OK, OK, it was churlish of me. I'll take that lovely award, and I'll hope that virtual metal polish doesn't have that horrid dry crumbly feeling that the real life stuff does. Just off to write the acceptance speech...
Iota: No, you've got a lot on your plate and can see past all our ridiculous efforts to stop you signing off....Glad you haven't. Incidentally, have been off to buy you metal polish with added moisturiser. It's actually good for your skin, apparently. If you're a Klingon. Buffs up a treat.
Iota: new!! cyberglit!! kind to your hands, kind to virtual awards!! Buy now and receive absolutely nothing through the post and get one absolutely free!!
Iota: Just for you, I'm going to follow Peter Pan's advice, clap my hands so there's a fairyland massacre and send you some of the corpses. It's the very least I can do.

But thank you...
Thanks Omega Mum, that is very sweet of you, I sure do appreciate it, many thanks.
Molly gras: I am, indeed, a doll. But one of the scary sort with funny beady eyes.
Iota: Fair enough. I am not hurt at the rejection. I am just crying inside, or at least snivelling....but only a very little.
Sweet I: Glad you like it.
Good gawd woman you are going to run out of sidebar soon!
DJ: Am writing song called, provisionally, 'I've got a thing for bling.' Mind you, you aren't doing so badly either.....

You're so thoughtful. I think it's the name Duraglit, as much as the feel of the stuff, that I can't bear. Whoever thought that one up?

Cyberglit. Oooh yes please!
iota: Glad to have helped. No pixies were injured in the making of this product. Shame, really, but you can't have everything.
Shame. If I had dead pixies, I would truly feel I had everything. You could have made my life complete.

You're a true friend. Or a virtual one, at any rate.
Iota: Possibly a better blog friend than a real life one. But such is the nature of cyber life.
