Sorry, Sweet Irene

I've been a bit pushed and haven't thanked you properly for my awards. And I think there's one from Crazy Cath, too. How useless of me. Please accept my apologies. It's all been a bit busy what with the holidays, sardine issues (did you realise fish could count?) and the cat lying with its back feet along 'QWERTY', its head resting on the printer and its body blocking the monitor and then biting me whenever I attempt to move. It's rough out here. Don't ever forget it.

I think my dog and your cat are related. She often chooses to lie across your wrists whilst you are typing, which also means you get pins and needles in addition to not getting any work done.

It's okay, Omega Mum, no apologies necessary. Just glad to make somebody a teensy bit happy.

My cat does that too. If it's the big one, I can't move. The little ones just rest their heads (yes, plural - many cats) on my hands as I type.

Anyway, you are very welcome to pick up the award - it's in the post "Bloggy Bling Part One" and is the "E for Excellent". I actually owed you (and gave) and apology for not doing that sooner! Here's the tribute (save you searching for it):

"Firstly, I wish to thank the very first person in Blogland to give me an award. I have never returned the compliment to my shame, and I am ashamed. The award I was given meant so much and was a genuine gesture of kindness from some one who writes a wonderful, witty dialogue, often leaving me chuckling.

The "E is for Excellent Award" goes to Omega Mum of 3kidsnojob for the excellent blog and the excellent friend she is to support and encourage the new kid on the block."

So pop over and get an "E". Should make the music lessons interesting... ;0)

Your cat sounds as nutty as ours are.

Hello, where have you been? Or where have I been might be just as pertinent. Have had a catch up. Loved the Hungarian music technique, or whatever it was, I was struggling a bit.
Many aeons ago I used to teach and was so so bad at it. I just had not patience with the buggers. Also tauught in a very strict Catholic school which hated me for being female. Remarkably I was really quite good at something else.
Hope you are having a good time while not blogging.

Just checking in as I have a cat either side competing for the keyboard. Hope you're ok - you've been gone awhile.

Where are you omega mum? You aren't considering going the way of Drunk Mummy and M&M are you?

I'm a fine one to ask I know, and I'm sure you must have been inundated with appeals for an explanation for your absence, but all the same - WHERE ARE YOU?

This isn't like you, to be silent for such a stretch. Are you ok?

Sweet Irene has stopped existing. She has "Gone with the Wind." Soon, her weblog will be gone too. Say, "Bye bye."

Is everything OK?! I've been lurking and am starting to get more than a little concerned.

I just hope things are crazy busy and that's all ...
