Honoured as I am

....to accept the award of Rockin Blogger from Mother at Large, I'd like to thank the friends, neighbours and close relations whose exploits have been recorded here, so far without any libel damages changing hands.

No animals have been injured in the making of this blog, with the exception of one lamb. (That's probably enough lamb references).

I'd now like to pass on the Rockin Blogger award to To Miss with Love - because she is invariably entertaining and eye-opening. I would award it to Stay at Home Dad because he's so good at turning the detail of parenting into a moving read, but I guess the 'girl' business might be a bit of a problem for both of us.....so I'd like to award it to Brillig, for stirling services to laughter and sanity.

And I have now overcome the technical problem of the logo. At first I couldn't get it up, as it were. Now I can. From 'phobe to 'phile in just 30 minutes.

Well done. A well deserved honour.

Thanks, Gwen. See you at the party later....

Glad you got it up! I too struggled and worried if my inability to upload a logo onto my blog would mean that the honour would be removed from me......

Omega Mum said...

Well done both of us, Nunhead. Perhaps a small 'Getting it up' award would be in order?

Well thank you Omega Mum - I am chuffed. I am dreading though the thought of putting up that logo. Does being awarded it mean that one must then recommend someone else? I am very useless at blog-etiquette!

And well done to you too. I have just realised that there isn't a hope in hell of me understanding the logo thing. I think I'll just have to say thanks and accept it in spirit. Thanks!

Snuffles: You need to nominate two more people, apparently. Mother at Large e-mailed me the logo and I managed to import it from Adobe - it's only a picture, not a code, and you seem awe-inspiringly good at those.

Excellent. Keep the champagne on ice until I arrive.

Congratulations on your rockin blogger status! Thoroughly well deserved - and very clever of you to have got the logo up.

I do admire the economy and style of these little daily stories of yours - mine seem to have dwindled to one a week at present.

Congrats me dear!

Glad you managed to get it up, so to speak ...

Gwen: It's chilled to perfection. Just waiting for you.

IB: You could call it economy or argue equally that I have the attention span of a gnat and thus the writing stamina to match, whereas you actually have things like a plot, character development which add up to real literary style.

Thanks M&M. Once up, never dropped. I wonder if that's what I mean.....It sounds wrong, and somehow suggestive. It's Mutley's smut competition that does it.

A well-deserved honour, Omega Mum! Perhaps in time there'll be champagne and red carpets to go with the Rockin' Blogger mega-pixels.

Wow! You absolutely deserve the award! And thanks so much for honoring me with it. THANKS!!!

Congrats, you are too funny and def deserve this award. Too bad you can't give it to SAHD though... shame we couldn't figure out some way to rub out the 'girl' and put 'boy' in there instead... I'll have a play around with it if I can have the html.

Omega Mum said...

M@L: For us all. Here's hoping. And thanks again.

Brillig: It's very well deserved.

DJ: That's so lovely of you. I don't have HTML, that's the problem - it's a picture.

Oh, come on girls, we can all still 'get it up' without the aid of technology surely?

Omega Mum said...

Debio: Absolutely. I feel a Megadik moment coming on.

Well done OM, richly deserved. Thanks for the thought. Story of my(current) life!

SAHD: DJKirby says she'll have a go at the logo so you can have it, too. Because you should, frankly.

Very kind. If there was ever such a thing as an honorary woman, I'd like to think I was in with a chance...

SAHD: Really you and the other Dads should do your own ring group thing - like all the mothers do. Is there one? Or one you could set up? And then you could have proper awards.
